If any of this sounds familiar

You shouldn't have to keep doing this.

Seventy-five days. $4,200 owed. They've stopped replying. You can't fire them, you can't sue them, you can't suspend service. And a debt collector would take 30 to 50% and torch the relationship.

ti3 is the option that didn't exist. Until now.

Why this works when emails from you don't

Four reasons it works when emails from you don't.

01

Frequency without awkwardness

Five touches across five weeks, in your name, without you sending any of them. Persistence is the variable that matters most. You can't sustain it. We can.

02

Options instead of demands

Settlement offers, payment plans, instant discounts, counter-offers. The debtor picks a path forward instead of avoiding a single ask. Most overdue debt is avoidance, not refusal.

03

Mobile-first delivery

By week four, debtors have started filtering your emails. They haven't filtered their texts. SMS reaches accounts that have stopped opening email, and a payment link they can tap from the phone they're already holding removes the next bit of friction.

04

Brand-safe by design

No login, no signup, no shame language, no third-party collector identity. Your relationship survives the recovery, which is the whole reason you didn't send them to a collector.

Bonus reason

Closure with a defined next step

When the sequence ends without full resolution, Case Resolution tracks the file and gives you a one-click hand-off package for a collector, attorney, or write-off. Stubborn accounts can also receive a Final Demand Notice as the firm last word.

Every account ends somewhere

Six ways an account closes.

No more half-finished follow-ups. Every account lands in one of these.

Pay in full

One tap, balance paid, case closed.

Settle

A reduced amount the debtor can actually pay. You approve.

Payment plan

Multi-month plan the debtor sets up themselves within your rules.

Dispute

Debtor flags a dispute. Sequence pauses, case routes back to you.

Final notice

Stubborn account gets the firm last word with the 1099-C reference.

Hand off

Unresolved cases get a one-click package to send to a collector or legal.

What your customer receives

Professional, specific, and always a path forward.

The messages run in your business name from your email. Your customer never sees ti3.

Hi Alex,

Following up on invoice #4401 ($4,200, due May 14). It's been 21 days.

If cash flow is tight on your end this month, I can offer two options:

1. Accept $3,360 (20% off) for payment received by June 8, and we close the account.
2. Set up a payment plan over the next 60 to 90 days: [plan link]

Either works on my side. Let me know which you'd prefer, or pay in full here: [pay link].

Thanks,
Sam

Frequently asked

Questions before you sign up.

Is ti3 a debt collector?
No, and this is an important legal distinction. Debt collectors are third parties governed by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. ti3 is software you (the original creditor) use to manage your own first-party recovery. Messages go from you to your customer. Payments route directly to your account. ti3 never takes custody of debtor funds. Debt collectors are explicitly prohibited from using our software.
Will my customers know it’s a tool, not me?
Messages go in your name and from your business identity. The debtor experience is a clean, mobile-friendly link with no ti3 branding. Most debtors assume it’s your normal billing process. If asked, you can explain. There’s nothing to hide.
What happens if a customer disputes?
Debtors can self-identify a dispute through the magic link. The account is paused, you’re notified immediately, and a managed-dispute service is available for 99¢ per invoice if you want us to handle the back-and-forth. Disputes are tracked and exportable for compliance.
How does the 30-day guarantee work?
It applies to the Managed plan. If you upload an aging report and we recover nothing in the first 30 days of active operation, we refund that month’s fee and send you a written report on what we tried, what we observed, and our honest read on whether your accounts are recoverable with more time or whether they aren’t. We’d rather lose a month’s fee than have you feel like you wasted it.
How does it integrate with QuickBooks?
One-click integration imports your aging report and selected overdue invoices. Status updates and recovered amounts can sync back. If you don’t use QuickBooks, the Excel/CSV upload works just as well.
What does it cost compared to a debt collector?
A typical debt collector charges 20-50% of what they recover. On a $4,200 invoice that’s $840 to $2,100 lost. ti3’s Managed plan is a flat monthly fee with no percentage of recovery, typically a fraction of one collector commission. The math gets better the more you use it.
What is the Final Demand Notice?
A formal final notice you can send to a stubborn debtor, in your business identity, after the standard reminder sequence has stopped working, or as a stand-alone one-off without the sequence. The notice references that cancelled debt of $600 or more may be reported to the IRS on Form 1099-C and is generally treated as taxable income to the debtor under IRS Topic 431. Available at 99¢ per notice or as part of the Self-Serve and Managed plans. More at /final-demand/.
What happens to accounts that don't pay during the 5-week sequence?
They move into Case Resolution: a tracked closure workflow where you decide the next step (send to a third-party collector, send to legal, or write off). ti3 assembles a hand-off package with the full message history and debtor responses so you don't have to recreate the file. Case Resolution is included in every plan.
Who’s behind this?
ti3 is built by Captira Analytical. We've built business software for customers across the US for over two decades. Collections kept coming up across our customer base, so we built a solution that helped all of them at the same time. ti3 is that solution, refined over years and available now for any business with the same problem.
